Nigeria, Africa’s most popular country and leading economy, is going through a lot of political and economic reforms that are shaking the foundations and operations in the country and affecting Africa.

The man in the middle of and head of such reforms is Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Nigerian President elected in a hotly contested election that brought him into power on 29 May 2023.

The administration is barely one and a half years old, but much has changed in Nigerian politics, economy and sociology. 

Bola Ahmed Tinubu got into power against all odds, contesting with not just opposing parties but facing opposition from even within his party and a government he helped put into power. 

To understand and predict Nigeria’s reforms, one needs to know the man and the politics and philosophy of the man at their helm. 

To help us understand and predict all of these is Sam Omaseye, a man who arguably knows Bola Ahmed Tinubu more than most observers and analysts. 

Sam Oritsetimeyin Omatseye is a journalist, poet, novelist and award-winning essayist who documented Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s rise to power in his book, “BEATING ALL ODDS: DIARIES AND ESSAYS ON HOW BOLA TINUBU BECAME PRESIDENT”

Sam Omaseye has continued to observe and analyse Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s reforms and administration in general.  

Other analysts, corporate and public leaders, diplomats, scholars, and media leaders will also be invited to these conversations.
